Privacy Policy

Poster is a creative app for framing photos and videos, building layouts and carousels, adding text, and planning social posts. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.

1. Creative Content and Local Storage

Your photos, videos, projects, exports, settings, and free-form text are processed and stored locally on your device. Poster does not upload this creative content to the Developer’s servers or send it to analytics services.

2. Product Analytics

Poster uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve its features and reliability. Firebase assigns an app-instance identifier to the App installation. Analytics information may include product interactions, purchase history, coarse location derived from network information, and diagnostic information.

Poster does not provide Firebase with your name, email address, Apple ID, advertising identifier, photos, videos, project content, or free-form text. Poster does not set a Firebase User ID, and collection of Apple’s Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) is disabled.

3. Advertising and Tracking

Poster does not use analytics information for advertising, does not show third-party ads, and does not track your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies. Default advertising-personalization signals are disabled.

4. Photos and Videos

When you select photos or videos, Poster processes them on your device to create borders, layouts, carousels, text compositions, and exports. Exports are saved to your Photos library only when you request it. Poster does not upload your media to external servers.

5. Permissions

Photos Library: Access is used to import media you select and save exports you request.

Camera: The camera is not required by Poster’s core features.

Notifications: Notifications are not used by default.

6. Purchases

Poster Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The Developer does not receive or store your payment-card details. Poster may receive purchase status and transaction information needed to unlock features, restore purchases, and measure purchase activity.

7. iCloud and Sync

Poster does not currently sync projects or creative content to iCloud. If optional sync is introduced later, this policy will be updated before that feature is released.

8. Sharing and Posting

When you choose to share or post, Poster uses the iOS share sheet to hand content to the app or service you select. Poster does not receive information about what happens after that handoff.

9. Third-Party Services

Google processes Firebase Analytics information on Poster’s behalf. You can learn more from Firebase Privacy and Security and Google’s Privacy Policy. Apple processes App Store purchases under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

10. Children’s Privacy

Poster is not intended for children under 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Data Security

Creative content remains on your device and is protected by your device’s security controls. Analytics information is transmitted to Google using the safeguards provided by Firebase. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the App evolves. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
